Detailed Itinerary (8 Days)

• Day 1: Arrival in Athens & Plaka Walking Tour : Arrival at Athens International Airport and private transfer to your hotel. In the late afternoon or evening, enjoy an atmospheric stroll through the charming streets of Plaka, followed by a welcome dinner featuring traditional Greek cuisine.

• Day 2: Corinth Canal – Ancient Nemea – Nafplio: Depart Athens with a short stop at the famous Corinth Canal. Continue to Ancient Nemea to explore the Temple of Zeus and the Ancient Stadium, followed by a visit to a local winery for an Agiorgitiko wine tasting and lunch. Arrive in seaside Nafplio for check-in and an evening at leisure.

• Day 3: Mycenae – Epidaurus – Nafplio : Visit the bronze-age citadel of Mycenae, entering through the iconic Lion Gate and touring the Beehive Tombs. Continue to the Sanctuary of Asklepios and the world-famous Ancient Theater of Epidaurus. Return to Nafplio for an afternoon walk through the Old Town alleys.

• Day 4: Nafplio – Monemvasia : Enjoy a scenic coastal drive south toward the medieval rock fortress of Monemvasia. Spend the afternoon exploring the Lower and Upper Town cobbled pathways, staying overnight inside the castle walls.

• Day 5: Mystras – Kalamata : Discover the cliffside Byzantine castle town of Mystras, touring the Palace of the Despots and frescoed monasteries. Afterward, drive through the rugged Mani landscape toward the coastal city of Kalamata for an overnight stay.

• Day 6: Ancient Messene – Ancient Olympia : Tour the remarkably preserved archaeological park of Ancient Messene, featuring its grand stadium and ancient fortifications. Continue through the lush countryside to Ancient Olympia for dinner and an overnight stay.

• Day 7: Ancient Olympia – Athens : Explore the birth site of the Olympic Games in Ancient Olympia, including the Altis sanctuary, the Temple of Zeus, the original Olympic Stadium, and the Archaeological Museum. Return to Athens in the late afternoon.

• Day 8: Departure : Enjoy breakfast at your hotel followed by a private transfer to Athens International Airport (ATH) for your departure flight.
