A Unique Messinian Adventure

As the only horseback riding operator in the immediate local area, we were established to offer visitors a completely new kind of adventure. Guided by our experienced instructors, you will discover one of the most liberating and invigorating feelings: exploring nature on horseback.

Our well-trained horses will help you safely discover the lush pine forest of Elaia and enjoy sweeping views of the endless blue Ionian Sea from the saddle.

Horseback Riding in the Coastal Pine Forest of Elaia

Elaia Beach is the northernmost beach of Messinia, located just 10 kilometers from Kyparissia, near the border with Elis. This is also where the Neda River empties into the sea—one of only two rivers in Greece with a female name.

Spanning several kilometers, this magnificent stretch of coast features golden sand and crystal-clear waters. The area belongs to the protected ecological zones of Trifylia, as Caretta-Caretta sea turtles return here every year along the shore to lay their eggs.

Rising directly behind the beach is a breathtaking pine forest—one of the largest in Greece—making it an ideal destination for camping, hiking, and nature walks. Elaia Beach is equipped with beach showers and two organized canteens, while the charming, small village of the same name is located nearby.
