Psarouli Winery is based in the village of Vasilada, Messinia. The Psarouli family has been cultivating vineyards since 1948 and has the largest volume of Assyrtiko vineyards in Messinia, owning 170 acres of vineyards, the bulk of which are planted on the bottom of a prehistoric lake.
Cultivation is carried out with respect for the environment and in harmony with nature. We produce high-quality wines with passion and dedication that exude the authenticity and culture of our region.
Wine was a key element of the ancient Greek cultural heritage and had an important role in social and cultural life. In many cities of antiquity, such as Androusa and Ancient Messina, the vineyard cultivator symbolized the prosperity and blessing of the land.
"Behind time lies knowledge, behind the vine the winegrower."
Winery
Since 2013 we have been producing superior quality wines from privately owned and selected vineyards in the wider region of Messinia, having created the new modern boutique winery.
The processing takes place in our new state-of-the-art Winery located next to the vineyards. The company's staff consists of 2 agronomists and 2 oenologists who are always by our side in every production process.
''Tradition meets innovation and quality meets aesthetics.''
