THE 3-DAY POETIC CASTLE ITINERARY
Day 1 | Arrival at Ritsos' Birthplace : Settle into your room and explore the historic premises. In the afternoon, enjoy your wine under the mulberry tree, gazing at the Myrtoan horizon.
Day 2 | Flavors & Heritage : Start with an organic breakfast from the family farm. Visit "Kelari" on the main cobblestone street (the oldest shop in the Castle) for a local wine tasting and "samousades" at special guest prices.
Day 3 | A Journey of the Senses : Take a final walk along the castle walls and churches. Stock up on almond sweets (amygdalota) from Kelari before departing, taking a piece of "Romiosini" with you.
Hidden Secrets
Make sure to visit our "Kelari" shop on the main street to taste the rare "melokraso" (honey-wine) and get some "samousades" (the local version of baklava). It is the best way to carry the essence of Monemvasia back home.
